Women don’t turn me down. So when the one at the end of the bar looks me over and goes back to her drink, I feel like an idiot. She leaves without a second glance. The bartender laughs. “That’s Raven. If you think she’s hot, you should hear her think.” Three days later, I’m assigned to a hack at the Naval Academy, and she’s my partner, in uniform, acting like she’s never seen me before. Then someone inside the academy comes after her, and keeping her safe becomes personal. I’ve never had to earn a woman’s attention. I’ll spend the rest of my life earning hers.

Now, I have to find out who inside the academy helped the hackers while sitting next to the only man who ever made me want to break my rules. When that person decides I’m the problem, he’s the one who won’t leave my side. Just once, I wanted someone to work for it. I didn’t expect him to be the one who does.
